The curriculum for PK3, PK4, and K entails learning to use the iPad and Chromebook while learning/reinforcing letters, words, numbers, shapes, colors, sequences, and keyboarding through the use of online learning tools like ABCya!, Funbrain, Starfall, PBS and other educational Apps.
The curriculum for 1st grade through 4th grade entails using Chromebooks, learning Google Docs, Google Classroom, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drawings, Lucidpress, and Canva. Students will learn about different computer components, keyboarding, and digital citizenship. In addition, students will be using online block coding tools available at Code.org.
The Computer Skills class (7th/8th) entails becoming proficient in basic technology as a prerequisite to more advanced classes: Web Design, Coding, and Robotics.
The Web Design class (7th/8th) entails learning the basic Software Engineering Process, Web design using Weebly, and basic HTML coding.
The Coding class (7th/8th) entails learning the basic Software Engineering Process, block coding with Scratch, and basic 'C' language coding.
The Robotics class (7th/8th) entails learning how to build and program robots using the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Set.
